A Time of Need

 

Dear comrades, for the past year you have toiled to fulfill our leader’s glorious vision. You have so nobly managed to thrive on smaller rations. Boxer especially has been an exemplary comrade. We all should aspire to be more like Boxer. We will all work harder! We will soldier on through these times of difficulty. Yes, proud beasts, you have suffered, but it is all in the name of Animal Farm. I am so proud of you, comrades. And even though the windmill has been destroyed by the traitor Snowball, your work has not been in vain. You have been made stronger by your struggles. That vile traitor, Snowball, thinks that he can destroy us with his petty acts of vandalism, but he is wrong! Again we shall rise, even greater than before! Long live Animal Farm!
